If you love lilacs, youll want to visit the Hulda
Klager Lilac Gardens in Woodland, Washington, where you
can enjoy over 150 varieties. Step back in time to the 1890s
and tour the Victorian farmhouse, gift shop, and garden during the annual Lilac
Festival when the lilacs are in full bloom. In addition
to all the lilacs, youll also see many other trees,
shrubs, and flowers including some of the largest
trees in Washington state.
The Lilac Gardens are located 30 minutes north of Portland,
Oregon at 115 South Pekin Road, Woodland, Washington
98674. (Our mailing address is PO Box 828). The
Gardens are open to the public 365 days a year from 10:00
a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily, with a $2.00 gate fee payable
at the gate.
The annual Lilac Festival begins in April and ends on Mother's Day (call 360-225-8996
to hear a recorded message with exact opening dates and
times).
