 The Hulda Klager Lilac Garden is the perfect place for an outdoor
event during the summer months.
Much of the garden is shaded
by tall trees with areas of full sun.
The Garden is wheelchair accessible, and the walkways are brick pavers. There are public restrooms, electrical outlets and picnic tables available for your use.
The location is generally quiet
except for the occasional train
on our western border. The Garden is available to rent for:
- Birthdays
- Weddings
- Receptions
- Anniversaries
- Family & Company Picnics
 Fees
The cost for renting the gardens for a four-hour period is $1,000, and $50 for each additional hour. We require a $250 cleaning deposit, which will be refunded after the event when rental conditions are met. For weddings, this will also include:
- One hour rehearsal prior to event
- Kitchen for food staging (cooking facilities are not available)
- Changing location for bridal party
It is recommended that you visit the grounds
and facilities before finalizing your plans. A
50% deposit of the rental fee and cleaning deposit
reserves your date. Full payment is required
90 days prior to event.
Fees do not include seating, food, music,
floral supplies, minister, photographer
or clean up after event. Please read our brochure for more information.

Please Note:
- We do not offer inside facilities except as noted above for food staging and a changing location for the bridal party. It is recommended that you have
an alternate plan in case of rain.
- No alcoholic beverages
are allowed on the premises.
- No pets allowed.
- All attendees must stay on
designated walkways and
grass areas.
- Picking flowers is prohibited.
- We are a public facility and
although we will post your
event at the gate, we cannot
guarantee a private ceremony.
- The Hulda Klager Lilac Society
is not responsible for loss or
damage of personal property.
- Renter is responsible for loss or
damage to Lilac Society property.
